The Examiner is a collection of four local newspapers that fall under the ownership of the Hearst Corporation, operating as Houston Community Newspapers (HCN). The titles of these publications are the Bellaire Examiner, Memorial Examiner, River Oaks Examiner, and West University Examiner. They are all based at the HCN Southwest Office-Central located in Houston.
