ORLANDO, Fla. - Two Volusia County men were arrested Monday by the FBI on charges of assaulting several law enforcement officers during the Jan. 6 attack at the U.S. Capitol. According to a Statement of Facts submitted in federal court, FBI investigators were tipped off by members of the public about the involvement of Jarod Lee Hawks, 43, of Port Orange, and John William Padgett, 40, of Edgewater.
