    MARSHFIELD, Wis. (WSAW) - There’s a celebrity walking the halls of Marshfield Children’s Hospital, but she’s walking on four legs. Dolly Pawton’s handlers say she has been trained since she was a puppy to work in a medical facility. “She is here to provide support to our patients, do meaningful interventions, and really try and do that goal-oriented work with our patients,” said McKenzie Tischauser, a Certified Childlife Specialist at Marshfield Children’s explained. Dolly is a facility dog.

    STEVENS POINT, Wis. (WSAW) - It’s always nice when students can take learning out of the classroom and into the outdoors.    That’s just what some juniors and seniors at the Charles Fernandez Center in Stevens Point worked all semester to do. The students recently embarked on a fishing trip, a semester in the making. “I saw fishing as an option for a class in school, and I’m like something to be excited for when I come into school,” said senior Nic Trzebiatowski.

Daniel Stencil will be taking the flight with his brother and fellow veteran, Howard, and his daughter will be joining as his guardian. The family is also bringing along two others, in spirit.
