ST. GEORGE — A missionary at the St. George Airport was ecstatic to see his family after two long years, but he also had a surprise celebrity encounter. Half an hour before Micah Hyde’s plane landed on July 10, more than 70 friends and family members were gathered at the airport anxiously awaiting his return from Seattle. Meanwhile, singer Post Malone was right outside talking on the phone. He was headed back to Salt Lake City after visiting a luxury resort in southern Utah.

They said the temple groundbreaking announcement marks a significant moment of growth and access for church members in their home country. Aimeleen Solis is a convert from Tarclac City. She’s lived in Utah for over 30 years, but said she can relate to what this means to Filipinos.
