    SALT LAKE CITY — The Wasatch Reptile Expo attracted thousands of people to the Utah State Fairpark between May 3 and May 4. According to Guy Versluis, the organizer of the event, between 5,000 and 6,000 people attended. “We have thousands and thousands of reptiles, amphibians … We have the manufacturers that make the enclosures for them. Pretty much everything to take care of any reptile, amphibian, arachnid, [or] insect,” Versluis said.

    SALT LAKE CITY — Police arrested a patient at an addiction recovery center in Wasatch County after officers say he stabbed another patient on Wednesday. According to an affidavit, an officer with the Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office reviewed footage that showed a voluntary patient, Hunter Ryan Kluser, stab a patient at the center. “The video depicts (Kluser) aggressively swinging the knife repeatedly at the victim’s neck even after the victim slumps over to protect himself,” the affidavit stated.
