    CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A 6-inch waterline break has left puddles of water sitting at the intersection of Glazebrook and Reid near an HEB on South Alameda Street. It will take until the end of the day to fix, Corpus Christi Water representative Judy Lapointe said. Engineers on scene said the age of the pipes is part of issue, but Lapointe said they won't know the exact cause until the line can be dig up.

    CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department announced it will close the Cole Park playground, located at 1900 Ocean Drive, for improvements beginning Monday. "I feel pretty sad because I'm not going to be able to play, but I'm really excited about the new stuff happening so then I can play after," said residents Carlos Leon and Ivan Carrioo. Changes are definitely on the way, thanks to this million-dollar project approved by voters during the 2022 bond election.
