“EXPENSIVE tools” that were stolen from a construction site in Limerick is now being investigated by gardaí. Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward regarding the theft of tools from a building site on Upper Cecil St in the city on Sunday, April 13, shortly after 2am. “Two thieves entered the building site, gaining entry by forcing through a gap in the surrounding gates,” said Sergeant Michelle O’Halloran, Crime Prevention Officer, Henry St garda station.

GARDAÍ in Limerick have launched an investigation following reports of a stolen vehicle in the city. On Sunday night, April 13, a silver Toyota Rav 4, registration 171T, was stolen from a car park in Mount Kenneth. “The owner discovered it missing the following day around midday,” said Sergeant Michelle O’Halloran, Crime Prevention Officer, Henry St garda station.

A SPECIAL quiz night to benefit the Sarsfield Homecoming Project was held in Limerick in memory of a young girl who was passionate about history. The quiz night was held at Clancy's Bar in Pallaskenry, in memory of Alexandria (Alex) Fitzgerald, age 19, who tragically passed away last year. Alex was a student of Salesian Secondary College, Pallaskenry.
