COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A teen who claimed he "accidentally pulled the trigger" of a gun, shooting and killing a 15-year-old boy will go to a mental health and behavioral rehab facility, a judge ruled on Wednesday. The teen will go straight from the courthouse to Buckeye Ranch, a behavioral, emotional and mental health rehabilitation facility in central Ohio.

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio — A Middletown police officer was taken to the hospital after being involved in a crash during a police pursuit, Middletown police said. Police said officers were pursuing a car reported stolen just before 1 p.m. on Sunday. The driver of the allegedly stolen vehicle crashed into a Middletown police cruiser at the intersection of Eldora Street and Tytus Avenue. Police said the officer was taken to a hospital for treatment, but was released a short time later.

CINCINNATI — A Hamilton County Sheriff's Deputy working a traffic detail at the University of Cincinnati was hit by a driver, according to Fraternal Order of Police President Ken Kober. A spokesperson with the sheriff's office also said one of their deputies was involved in the crash. Kober did not have detail on the officer's condition. Roadways near Martin Luther King Jr. Drive are and Woodside near the Campus Green are closed. There is a heavy police presence throughout MLK Drive.

TRENTON, Ohio — A 35-year-old Cincinnati man has been arrested by the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force for allegations of rape and kidnapping involving a juvenile, according to the Trenton Police Department. According to Trenton Police, Tandi Wanchu Tamang was arrested in connection with "a reported incident that occurred on April 6."Tamang has been taken to the Middletown Jail, according to Trenton police. Police did not provide any additional details on the allegations against Tamang.

ANDERSON TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A pedestrian hit by a driver is in the hospital with injuries police say are life-threatening, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office. The crash happened around 9:30 a.m. near Salem Road and Beacon Road in Anderson Township. The pedestrian was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center; the sheriff's office said the driver involved in the crash stayed at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.

CINCINNATI — Cincinnati police officers are involved in a shooting in East Price Hill, according to CPD spokesperson Lt. Jonathan Cunningham. Cunningham said no officers were hurt in the shooting, which happened near the 2500 block of Warsaw Avenue. Police did not provide any information on anyone else involved in the shooting, or whether anyone who is not a police officer was hurt. "This incident is still unfolding and an active incident," reads a statement sent by Cunningham.
