HARRISBURG — A Democratic-controlled state House committee on Monday pushed forward a portion of Gov. Josh Shapiro’s energy plan that calls for greater use of wind, solar, and other renewable sources. Separately, the governor — speaking at a transit center in Harrisburg — said he was hopeful U.S. Steel, Nippon Steel and President Donald Trump would all sign final documents to allow Nippon to acquire the Pittsburgh-based company.
