Now a Hill Country farmer is talking about how a new bill could leave a majority of Texas producers up in smoke. Scott Postert, owner of Postert Farms in Rebecca Creek, comes from a farming family, but he isn't growing corn like his grandfather before him. The family farm has been growing CBD in Texas since 2018 and is ready for whatever lawmakers in Austin decide.

A Central Texas restaurant staple has stood the test of time. Texas State University students and alumni keep coming back to the downtown burger spot and the owner wants to carry on its legacy for generations another eight decades. "If you can't put it down, then it's a good burger and I didn't put it down," said first-time customer Robert Davis to MySA. "It's cool, there's nostalgia to it.""You got to check it out. It is probably the best burger I've had in San Marcos," he said.

An alternative San Antonio coffee shop has branched out to an I-35 college town that's made some big changes for THC criminalization. Locals are already feeling the vibes. "It felt like it was a lot different than other things we have in San Marcos," said Texas State student Reagan Shugart. She added a love for how the atmosphere delivers a clean, spacious, accessible place to study close to campus.

The Peach State is continuing to grow its collection of beaver-branded gas stations. As Buc-ee's continues to grow across the country, the ever-expanding Texas brand is reportedly eyeing a summer grand opening for its newest pit stop. Buc-ee's is aiming to open its Brunswick gas station in August, the company confirmed in a SavannahNow report. The Brunswick Buc-ee's will be at I-95 and Highway 99, which is about five hours away from Atlanta and roughly an hour north of Jacksonville, Florida.

A Washington-based software company has invested millions into Medina County with the construction of massive data centers, but that was just the start. For the second time in as many weeks, the company has announced another San Antonio-area project that's set to bring almost $1 billion to the region. Microsoft is planning on adding two single-story data center buildings named SAT 89 and SAT 90 to Castroville this summer, according to a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) filing.
