KOB 4 met one of those teachers at Los Lunas Middle School.

Monica Nunez plays a big role in those lessons and excursions for many young Latinas. “Caring and giving, selfless. She just gives all of her time and energy. She’s a giver,” said Juan Larrañaga, Pay It 4ward nominator. Nunez is the local director of the Mana Hermanitas Program.

While the artists will be different, you’ll probably always see the man in the Columbian hat. We’re tipping our hat to Neal Copperman, who’s been putting on concerts at places like Albuquerque’s Tony Hillerman Library and beyond for over two decades. Co-workers say he rarely stops.

Albuquerque Police say this man, Bobby Chavez, threw a small dog at officers to try to evade arrest. He was later arrested after also allegedly holding a woman hostage. The woman luckily managed to escape, and we are working to confirm the condition of the dog. @KOB4 https://t.co/iS7hFm8lyE
