VINEYARD, Utah — Several people were sent to the hospital following an overnight CO2 leak in Vineyard Wednesday. Sgt. Austin Edwards with the Utah County Sheriff’s Office said officers responded to a CO2 leak at a home near 330 North. This happened around 1 a.m. Approximately 10 people were inside the residence. Six people were transported to an area hospital, with two of them in a “more critical” condition. Dominion Energy plans to visit the scene to “run some tests,” Edwards said.

SALT LAKE CITY — Taberon Dave Honie was 23 years old when he was sentenced to die in 1999. Now 48, Honie has spent more than half of his life on death row. Just after midnight on Thursday morning, he is scheduled to become the eighth person executed by the state of Utah since 1977 after the U.S. Supreme Court reinstated the death penalty the year before.

SALT LAKE CITY — On Monday a car was stolen with a baby inside. According to a statement from the SLCPD, SSLPD and SLCo. Sheriff’s Office the mother left her car running in her driveway as she went in to get the rest of her kids. That’s when the suspect jumped in and drove off with the car. The investigation started soon after. Local police received a call from the mother saying her car, with her eight-month-old baby inside, had been stolen.
