Gavin Newsom's office said in a release Monday. "Life-saving medications shouldn't come with a life-altering price tag. CalRx is about making essential drugs like naloxone affordable and accessible for all - not the privileged few," Newsom said in the release.

LOS ANGELES - Victor Gomes bought a Glock 17 semiautomatic pistol from a licensed gun store in the Central Valley city of Hanford in May 2017. He used that gun to shoot his 10-year-old son, Wyland, in the head. Then he killed himself.
