Chloe Chan and Elise Hoven are newly minted college graduates who are taking different paths in golf. Chan, a University of Wisconsin grad from Hong Kong, plans to turn professional later this summer. She has status on the Epson Tour and will play in as many events as she can get in before likely taking another shot at LPGA/Epson Tour Qualifying School this fall.

MADISON — The players were effusive in their praise of TPC Wisconsin in its first year hosting the American Family Insurance Championship. They enjoyed playing with a partner in the tournament’s new two-man team format. The weather, other than a thunderstorm that suspended play for nearly three hours Sunday, was about as good as it gets. All in all, it was nearly a perfect week. Emphasis on nearly.
