    Following the banning of “park and chill” parties in parts of Kiambu County some time ago, resourceful Kenyans have found alternative ways to enjoy the picturesque tea plantations for courtship. Kiambu County Commissioner Joshua Nkanatha prohibited the parties after they became a nuisance, with some inebriated couples engaging in indecent public displays of affection, including making love openly. After a year-long lull, the tea plantations have once again started attracting visitors.
