Disgraced former Gov. Andrew Cuomo is clearly in too big a rush to be mayor. The June 24 primary front-runner, who already has two speeding tickets on the record of his new muscle car, was caught on camera driving through a red light after receiving several union endorsements in Midtown on Wednesday.

There were two big stories yesterday: The Brooklyn Democratic machine's attack on bike lanes and a federal judge's attack on the Trump administration's war on congestion pricing.

Mopeds are the classic no-win situation for city government: They're an essential tool for reducing car use by delivery workers and commuters. Plus, they're fun. But with top speeds far slower than much-heavier automobiles, moped owners don't always feel safe in roadways with cars and trucks, so they often drive them in bike lanes. And that's been especially dangerous on bridges.

Yes, it's Memorial Day, a time of introspection and remembrance. Over here at Streetsblog, we are still introspecting and remembering the betrayal by NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch, who came to office last year promising to make roadways safer and to be a Vision Zero partner of the Department of Transportation ... then went ahead and issued criminal summonses to cyclists for low-level infractions that typically received traffic summonses ... just like drivers still do.

When did Netflix start airing community board meetings? And when did people start dressing up so nice for them? You'd be excused for muttering such questions to yourself if you were watching "Everybody's Live with John Mulaney" on Wednesday night on Netflix (OK, I'm not hip, so I watched it archived the next day) because the comic legend and his guests looked like a bunch of anti-bike cranks at a meeting of Manhattan Community Board 8.

The @USDOT @SecDuffy keeps saying that drivers are "forced" to pay to enter Manhattan, but he's wrong! There's transit, of course, but also one stress-reducing, climate-friendly FREE way to get to work: biking! Join me, Sean! https://t.co/ITddu5UJXN

People like @NYPDTransport @NYC_DOT @OpenPlans @TransAlt are always asking me, "What is the easiest way to make this city better, safer, less congested and more livable?" I always answer: "Loading zones!" Unfortunately, @USDOT @SecDuffy would rather just fill NYC with more cars. https://t.co/QYwsWFU4qk
