ST. LOUIS – Make sure you are weather-prepared this Friday evening. A dangerous storm system is expected to sweep through the St. Louis region, bringing the potential for destructive winds and fast-moving tornadoes. The National Weather Service has placed much of eastern Missouri and western Illinois under a Level 4 out of 5 severe weather risk, a designation that signals there could be a range of weather outcomes and to be prepared for alerts.

After this chilly weekend, we have some warmer temperatures on the horizon – mainly in the 50s and 60s. The tradeoff is a more active pattern, with increased chances of rain and storms.

ST. LOUIS – A new week sees a new weather pattern, one that is a little more spring than winter. After this chilly weekend, we have some warmer temperatures on the horizon – mainly in the 50s and 60s. The tradeoff is a more active pattern, with increased chances of rain and storms. That first chance is on Tuesday, with a potent storm rolling from the West Coast. It will dig up some storm energy, along with some downpours of rain that could last into Wednesday.
