But that calm weather also means a chill is part of the forecast. The possibility of a freeze for the region is very high for Monday morning, and likely for Tuesday morning.

Any young plants will be affected by temperatures dropping to the 20s in some spots. AdvertisementMore rain is coming mid-week, so we will keep an eye on the river levels.

ST. LOUIS – Make sure you are weather-prepared this Friday evening. A dangerous storm system is expected to sweep through the St. Louis region, bringing the potential for destructive winds and fast-moving tornadoes. The National Weather Service has placed much of eastern Missouri and western Illinois under a Level 4 out of 5 severe weather risk, a designation that signals there could be a range of weather outcomes and to be prepared for alerts.

ST. LOUIS – A new week sees a new weather pattern, one that is a little more spring than winter. After this chilly weekend, we have some warmer temperatures on the horizon – mainly in the 50s and 60s. The tradeoff is a more active pattern, with increased chances of rain and storms. That first chance is on Tuesday, with a potent storm rolling from the West Coast. It will dig up some storm energy, along with some downpours of rain that could last into Wednesday.
