Vanderbilt Men’s Basketball (14-1, 2-2 SEC) returned to Memorial Gymnasium to face South Carolina (10-7, 0-4 SEC). It certainly wasn’t the best basketball the Commodores have played thus far, but a gritty, down to the wire ending would be enough to give the Commodores a 66-63 win, and their first SEC home win of the season. Jason Edwards, A.J Hoggard, Chris Mañon, Tyler Nickel and Devin McGlockton drew the start for Vanderbilt.
