    1. So far, so good for MSU football kickoff timesWhat MSU football fans, by and large, want from kickoff times is variety. They want a season with a number of games in that 3:30/4 p.m. sweet spot, where tailgating is maximized and the drive home isn’t after midnight. They want to touch grass on campus a couple times in the morning before a noon kickoff. And they either enjoy or at least don’t mind the electricity of a couple night games.

    KENT CITY — Even in the relays the Olivet girls didn’t win Saturday, they were impressive — and impressed with each other. When Celina Sinclair, Olivet’s anchor in everything, saw teammate Lola Miars pass the runner from Hart on the second leg of the 400-meter relay, Sinclair said to herself, “Oh, we’re doing this,” on their way to a third-place finish in an event that wasn’t their strongest race. “Oh, we’re doing this” might as well be Olivet’s new slogan.
