The correct answer is District 11, the centermost of The City’s southern supervisorial constituencies, which includes portions of Mission Street, Ocean Avenue and multicultural enclaves such as Oceanview, the Excelsior and Ingleside Terrace. Nearly 82,600 San Franciscans live in District 11. About 57% of those residents — or roughly 46,800 people — identify as Asian, according to 2022 city data.

On the heels of the state’s report that there are for the first time more electric vehicle chargers than gas pumps in California, San Francisco officials said the same is likely true in The City. Gov. Gavin Newsom’s office recently announced that the number of EV chargers across the state more than doubled from 2022 to 2024. Last year, there were 178,549 public and shared EV charging ports dispersed throughout the Golden State, up from 105,012 in 2023 and 87,707 in 2022.
