That’s what happened to Alcon, the global eyecare company with manufacturing and research facilities in Berks County, when it reported first quarter core earnings per share missed the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 3.9%. Net sales also missed the Zacks Consensus Estimate.

EXETER TWP., Pa. – The Exeter Township Board of Supervisors approved a resolution granting conditional/preliminary land development plan approval for Martin Appliance Monday night. The property at 4575 Perkiomen Ave. is located in the Township Commons zoning district. At its April 21 meeting, the Exeter Township Planning Commission reviewed the plans and recommended conditional preliminary land development approval.
