    EXETER TWP., Pa. – The Exeter Township Police Department took center stage at Monday night's meeting of the township board of supervisors. Det. Sgt. Rocco DeCamillo reported on last year's work done by the detective bureau, which consists of six detectives. Two of the most experienced detectives in the unit are set to retire within the next two to five years, DeCamillo said. "Fraud and identity theft are the lion's share of investigations," he commented.

Thursday night, the board met in Lower Merion Township, home of commission Chair Neil Makhija. The first road meeting was held in Limerick township, home to Commissioner Thomas DiBello. Regular meetings are held in Norristown, home to Commissioner Jamila Winder.

Township supervisors on Monday night authorized the advertisement for a public hearing for a proposed conditional use of the Stonersville Hotel as a B&B. The hotel on Boyertown Pike in Exeter is closed but may soon reopen as the Stonersville Hotel Bed and Breakfast.

Township manager William Heim told the supervisors that there were two construction options: a bricks and mortar, or build-from-scratch approach, or a pre-engineered approach which uses existing assets as well as new construction.
