MALTA — Several state troopers were at the Ellsworth apartment complex off Route 9 late Wednesday afternoon. People outside the buildings were trying to get hold of people inside the apartments. In October, DEC officers raided Mark Longo’s Pine City home and animal rescue following multiple anonymous complaints about Peanut, a social media darling, who was seized from the home alongside Fred the raccoon.

CORINTH — The Corinth couple charged with child endangerment after their 3-year-old died last week violated an order of protection when they went to a home where their other children are staying, the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office said. The 33-year-old man and his 31-year-old wife were each charged with criminal contempt. The charges are misdemeanors as are the original charges filed after the toddler was found in the family home that code enforcement officials later condemned.

ALBANY — Passengers spent hours on the tarmac Monday after an Allegiant Air flight was delayed at Albany International Airport. Chris and Mary Plunkett, of Middletown Springs, Vt., said the three-hour long flight was supposed to board at 12:15 p.m. After changing gates three or four times, they finally got on the plane around 3:30 p.m. Then, they waited on the tarmac with their two children, aged 7 and 9, for around six hours.
