Her coach, Julie Hawkins, says Wang’s impact goes far beyond the scoreboard. “She is someone we can count on to get that win for us,” Hawkins said.

Even when I was falling behind on counts, I knew they had my back. Our bats were alive — literally everything was going good,” Layton told Sports 18.

Everybody always kind of feeds off my energy, it seems. We have a couple of other guys who are also leading the energy on the team. Ultimately, I think it’s knowing the guys look up to me a lot,” Corbin told Sports 18.

Our pitching — we’re very deep this year and we’re all working and throwing strikes,” Gothrup told Sports 18 following Wednesday’s game.

So, it’s just exciting!” Curtin exclaimed after cutting down his piece of the nylon. After a slower start for Clinton Prairie, head coach Chad Peckinpuagh says it was Curtin who kept the team going. “He was a little bit of everything for us,” Peckinpaugh stated.
