DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - Renovations at Davenport North High School are one step closer to reality after Tuesday night’s board meeting. The Davenport School Board approved plans and specifications for the North High School Additions and Renovations project. Renovations at North will largely be focused inside the building and will be done in chunks. Construction is expected to cost $28 million, according to a school board document.

STERLING, Ill. (KWQC) - Sterling City Council unanimously approved an ordinance to participate in the Illinois Public Works Mutual Aid Network on Monday night. The network is a statewide mutual aid system available to all public works agencies according to the Illinois Public Works Mutual Aid Network’s website. MUSCATINE, Iowa (KWQC) - Members of the Muscatine City Council discussed approving tax increment financing support for a residential subdivision Thursday night. The 26-lot subdivision would be between the south end of Clarabeck Lane and the north end of Green Acres Drive, according to council documents. The subdivision would include 10 single-family homes, which would start at $425,000, and 16 zero-step townhomes, which would cost between $350,000 and $375,000.
