Bob just ended his 19th season leading the Knights, and over the last 10 years, he's never finished lower than 3rd in the ARC conference standings. Bob is a 6x ARC conference coach of the year and in 2018 he was named the Division III national coach of the year. Bob has led the Knights to 9 NCAA tournaments, 5 Sweet 16s and three Final 4 trips.

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — The Kernels dug themselves out of an early 4-0 deficit against the Peoria Chiefs on Wednesday afternoon. But an 11th-inning home run from Peoria lifted the team to a 7-6 win over the Kernels. Peoria has taken the first two games of the series against the Kernels.

A group of immigrant workers, faith leaders and members of the community delivered 800 signatures Wednesday to the Iowa State Patrol's Cedar Rapids office, demanding the state cancel its 287(g) ICE Task Force agreement. The group Escucha Mi Voz Iowa says that policy allows state troopers to act like Immigration Customs Enforcement agents and racially profile members of the community and family separation.

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — Ranked 8th in class 3A, Linn-Mar found itself down a player after a red card 17 minutes into their match against 2A #4 Xavier. But largely on the strength of their star, Abi Roberts, the Lions still ended the night with a 3-0 road win. Roberts, a North Dakota State commit, scored all 3 goals for the Lions: her 6th hat trick of the 2025 season. Her 32 goals are the most of any player in class 3A. The win virtually secures Linn-Mar of a divisional title.
