    MASON, Mich. (WLNS)—On Monday at Mason High School, over 20 student-athletes who are taking their talents to the collegiate level were celebrated. Just about every sport you could think of was represented, including wrestling, cheerleading, bowling, football, basketball, and more. In total, this senior class has been part of 44 League Titles, 15 District Championships, 19 Regional Championships, and four state runner-up finishes, all while the spring sports are still in progress.

    EAST LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) -Playing for Michigan State has always been a dream for wide receiver and East Lansing native Evan Boyd. His parents went to MSU and his older brother Ethan played for three seasons at offensive tackle with the Spartans. Last season, Boyd led Central Michigan in receiving yards before a season-ending collarbone injury and is playing with a chip on his shoulder this fall. “It’s really just proving it to myself, you know,” Boyd said. “I know I could play at this level.
