The Amber Alert issued Thursday afternoon for three children last seen at a bus stop has been canceled, according to Virginia State Police. The children have been found safe. The children were believed to be in extreme danger and were last seen at a bus stop at Bobby’s Way Apartment Complex in Fishersville, a town southeast of Staunton, police said. The missing children were 10-year-old Jai’marcus Elijah Lewis; 8-year-old Ja’miya Tiana Lewis; and 6-year-old Ja’liyah Monae Lewis.

A 17-year-old was shot and killed in Virginia Beach on Monday night, according to police. Just before 9 p.m., officers received a report of a gunshot victim in the 5700 block of Schoolhouse Road, not far from the Tallwood Apartments and Kempsville Road. At the scene, officers found the 17-year-old with gunshot wounds. The Chesapeake resident was taken to the hospital and later died of his injuries.

Police discovered a man with gunshot wounds while responding to a vehicle crash Friday, according to Portsmouth police. Police responded to a call for a vehicle crash at Fort Lane and Crawford Parkway just before 11 p.m. There, they found a man with fatal gunshot wounds.
