KCKPD said he is safe and unharmed. “We are happy to confirm that Baby Hugo is safe and in good health,” the police department said in a statement Wednesday evening. “Because this remains an ongoing investigation and in order to guarantee the best care for Hugo, he was immediately placed and remains in police protective custody.
