KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Police Department (KCPD) is searching for an ATV driver who ran over an officer, leaving him with serious head injuries, on Saturday. According to law enforcement, on Saturday night at around 7 p.m., a KCPD officer set up a deflation device near East Truman Road and South Main Street in downtown Kansas City to stop the driver of a black and lime green Yamaha Raptor 700 ATV.

(WDAF) — A class action lawsuit has been filed after attorneys say a physical therapist with the University of Kansas Health System “unlawfully accessed” files, including “potentially nude clinical photographs,” of more than 400 patients who had sought care at a separate Kansas hospital. The lawsuit was filed Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Kansas City, Kansas, naming KU Health, Lawrence Memorial Hospital, and Epic Systems Corporation as the defendants.
