No injuries were reported after a two-vehicle crash resulted in one vehicle flipping in downtown Hanover on Friday evening, officials said. Firefighters had been called to the intersection of York Street and East Middle Street in Hanover for a report of a rollover crash around 6:57 p.m. on Friday, June 6, 2025, according to York County 911 records. When firefighters arrived, they found a Dodge minivan on its side on the sidewalk, and a Chevy pick-up truck in the intersection.

An additional road closure on Frederick Street will be in place in downtown Hanover on Monday night, according to officials. Weather permitting, work and associated detours will begin around 6 p.m. on Monday, June 9, 2025 on a stretch of Frederick Street between Center Square and Meade Avenue. The closure comes in addition to two nights of closures on Frederick Street the week prior, which took place on Wednesday and Thursday evenings.

Firefighters and an ambulance were called to the scene of the Turkey Hill convenience store at 639 Main Street in McSherrystown around 9:10 a.m. on Friday, June 6, 2025, according to Adams County 911 records.

The former publisher of the Gettysburg Times entered a plea agreement on federal charges of mail theft, court records filed on Thursday showed. Harry Hartman, 54, of Garnet Valley in Delaware County, the Times' former publisher, was charged on Thursday, June 5, 2025, with a felony charge of mail theft, according to the documents filed in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
