A doctor who was paralysed for life when his new bike fell apart as he rode it downhill has been awarded £4.5 million in compensation. Dr Daniel Gordon, 31, sustained a life-changing spinal cord injury in 2020 when the front forks of his £2,300 all-terrain gravel bike “sheared in two”.
