Unlike your typical restaurant, Rubicon Kitchen is in fact a food hut and can be found at the Mound in West Bay. The venue has a 'Excellent' score of 5/5 from 88 reviews, out of these, there are 87 'Excellent' reviews and one 'Average.' What do visitors think?

    The initiative to allow growing in verges has been introduced by Dorset Council to encourage ‘more biodiversity,’ by giving wildflowers ‘a space to thrive.’ It can be seen across the county, including areas such as Radipole Village in Weymouth. A spokesperson for Dorset Council said: “By using the ‘cut and collect’ method, we slow grass growth and give wildflowers the space to thrive. That means more biodiversity, less mowing, and making space for nature.

    People can get their creativity flowing as Paint Your Own Elephant kits are available following the success of Stampede by the Sea. Stampede by the Sea was a collaboration between local charity Weldmar Hospicecare and public art trail producer Wild in Art. The initiative has seen more than 50 elephants, all painted by talented artists, on display around Bridport, West Bay, Lyme Regis, and surrounding areas. Money raised from the kits will go directly to Weldmare Hospicecare.

    Food and drink champion Taste of the West had more than 1,000 members across Dorset as well as Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire. Bristol-based South West and Wales Business Recovery (SWBR) has been appointed as administrators for the Exeter-based company which was founded in 1991 with the principal aim being ‘food and drink promotions.’ According to the statement of administrator's proposal, the company ‘did not have sufficient cash flow to make payment to its creditors.
