Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said to applause that the legislation was just the start and that he wanted to prevent federal funding from paying for other unhealthy foods. “We’re not going to do that overnight,” Kennedy said.

Thank you so much. And how cool, a softball player too? My late father used to play softball at Flamingo Park in the late-60s and 70s, while I climbed the trees and roof of the dugouts and scoreboard!

An outstanding tribute @HowardCohen for an incredibly great professional who surely gave journalism a very good name. (and one heck of a softball player) Carmel Cafiero, who exposed corruption in Miami for more than 40 years, dies at 76 https://t.co/k7vhcV9A8K

Thank you so much, @lrobertsonmiami. Coming from someone who’s such a master wordsmith I use your work on my syllabus for my students this means a lot. (Worth making a guest appearance on X for!)

Farewell to one “hell of a newsman” by @HowardCohen, the master of farewells. @MiamiHerald
