DALTON — One pitch into Friday's baseball game at Wahconah, Drury took a one-run lead. "It was a first-pitch fastball. Just looking to stay with that middle-away approach," said Drury's Carson Rylander, who slammed the first pitch of the game over the fence in left field. "We talk about it all the time at practice, and I've been working on it hard."It was the first of six first-inning runs that gave Rylander a cushion, and the right hander did the rest.

DALTON — James Rabuse has accomplished a lot in his baseball career. On Monday, he did something he hadn't done since Little League. "I threw a perfect game in Little League, but that wasn't like this," said Rabuse. "This one felt pretty special."The junior right-hander threw his first high school perfect game and struck out 19 Mount Greylock hitters.
