(WLNS) – The Lansing Community College baseball team went 40-11 in the regular season and earned the No. 1 seed in the Region XII Tournament. On Thursday, the Stars were hosting Hocking College at Municipal Park in Lansing and swept a doubleheader to reach the regional semifinals.

EAST LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) – The Michigan State baseball team earned the 2,500th win in program history Tuesday night. Thanks to a 3-1 win over Eastern Michigan, MSU became the 35th Division 1 baseball program to reach the milestone. We’re proud of the fact that we’re the first varsity here on campus,” MSU baseball coach Jake Boss Jr. said. “I think that all goes into the amount of pride that these guys have to put that jersey on.
