    MUSKEGON, MI — A furry friend, sunroof entries and butterfly release featured as high schoolers showed up in fancy cars and even fancier styles. Muskegon High School held a “show-off” before celebrating its prom 2025 on Saturday, May 10 at Nelson Elementary School.     GRAND RAPIDS, MI - Thousands of racers took to the streets Saturday in downtown Grand Rapids for the 48th Amway River Bank Run. The event billed as the largest 25K road race in the country includes a Handcycle/Wheelchair 25K. An estimated 10,000 participants competed in the various events on Saturday, May 10, including a 10K and 5K runs and a community walk. Downtown streets were filled with spectators.

    MUSKEGON, MI — Muskegon High School showed off its style and swagger. Muskegon held a “show-off” before its prom 2025 on Saturday, May 10 at Nelson Elementary School. Prom goers lined up in cars on the track as families and friends filled the bleachers. Some huddled against the fence and others stood tall to snap photos of high fashion and fantastic looks. The community event preceded the school’s “A Night in Dubai” themed prom at The Folkert Community Hub.

Runners, as well as family and friends, can look up run times by A specific runner’s time can be found by entering the name, bib number or town of residence. To search run times in races other than the 25K, click the arrow under “result set” and select another race from the drop-down menu.

    GRAND RAPIDS, MI — Dinner time is also tee time at Gimme’s Par and Grill. The full-service restaurant, 45 Ottawa Ave NW in downtown Grand Rapids, serves elevated American cuisine and handcrafted cocktails while doubling as an entertainment venue offering indoor sports simulators. The bar and grill opened in November 2024. Founder Sam Stover said the space came together after five years of planning.
