FRESH details have emerged of Alex Salmond’s shock sudden death - with one eyewitness describing him “collapsing into the arms of a colleague”. The ex-SNP leader, 69 — who led Scotland to the brink of independence — passed away yesterday following a suspected heart attack while attending a summit in North Macedonia. A leader of the conference where Salmond spent his last few days said the forum is "in a state of shock" over his death.
