PROVIDENCE – A Rhode Island Public Transit Authority employee allegedly stabbed a co-worker June 11 during an argument over the suspect's ex-girlfriend, according to a Providence police report. The suspect, a 46-year-old Providence resident, was arrested and charged with felony assault and battery, according to the police report and court records. The victim was taken to Rhode Island Hospital for an injury that wasn't considered to be life-threatening, a spokesman for the city said previously.
