We visited Jerry's for All Seasons where we learned how to create this vibrant planter. We started by choosing a large light faux ceramic container in deep blue with good drainage and filled it with nutrient-rich potting soil.

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. — Home and Backyard was treated to an amazing and unique meal when we visited Isabella's Bar And Restaurant in Wilkes-Barre. Chef chose to prepare an elk filet. The elk was braised and prepared to perfection. At Isabella’s Restaurant, cooking is an art form, and the chef’s elk dish is a perfect example of their culinary talent. This entrée featured a tender cut of elk, seasoned and seared to perfection, with a side of maitake mushrooms and roasted potato.

Home & Backyard visited with Christine Luschas of Art by the Dozen who is a Margucia artisan. Christine demonstrated how to craft a Lithuanian Easter egg. This intricate art form involves hollowing out the eggs, dying them and decorating the eggs using various methods.
