When the Home and Backyard show paid a visit, owner Walter Woehrle showed us how these sweet treats are made.  Walter prepared the dough and added the butter cinnamon and other ingredients before they were rolled and sliced and ready for the oven.

A Home and Backyard visit to Shores Sisters is always a special experience, filled with creativity and charm. This time, we enjoyed the beauty and flavor of edible flowers and learned how to elevate everyday dishes into something truly memorable. Rachel demonstrated how decorating cupcakes with vibrant pansies and fragrant lavender, instantly transforms them into elegant sweet treats. We also crafted a stunning charcuterie board, enhanced with fresh, live florals that added both color and beauty.

TOWANDA, Pa. — Home & Backyard visits Shores Sisters in Towanda.  We spent time in their beautiful greenhouse packed with lush flowers, a variety of herbs and vegetable plants for your garden.  We learned how to plant a container filled with edible flowers. Rachel combined dianthus, pansies, lavender, and sweet alyssum to create a planter that was both beautiful and functional.
