Coast Guard Sector Jacksonville said it received a report around 7 p.m. Friday of an overturned 18-foot vessel with four people on top of the vessel and four more people possibly underneath the boat.

JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – A newborn baby was found on the side of the road Friday and taken to a St. Johns County fire station, a spokesperson for the St. Johns County Fire Rescue Department said. According to the spokesperson, a woman, who is not the mother, told firefighters she found the newborn inside a box on the side of a road on Silverleaf Parkway. She then took the baby to Fire Station 17 on County Road 210, according to officials.
