    TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — Unleashed dogs at Tucson parks are a rising concern for some neighbors, especially on the Eastside. Pima Animal Care Center (PACC) and its Animal Protection Service (APS) Unit have come up with a solution to help inform pet owners about leash laws. PACC recently formed a Volunteer Auxiliary Education Unit to visit parks to talk with dog owners about leash laws and even hand out free leashes to anybody who needs one.

    TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — Finding a job can be tough. A University of Arizona Eller College of Management director says Tucson lost about 2,000 jobs in 2024. A resource fair on the Southside is looking to change that. On Tuesday morning, the Pima County Youth One-Stop Open House & Resource Fair connected people with the tools, tips, and employers to further their job search.     TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — For kids, summer camps can be more than a place to pass the time. In Midtown, The Salvation Army’s ‘KidVenture Summer Day Camp’ started Monday and runs through July, but there's still space for more to join. The KidVenture Summer Day Camp is from now until July 3rd at the All Nations location in Midtown off Speedway and Alvernon. This camp runs Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for $75 a week. That includes meals, educational activities, and even weekly field trips.

    TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — In just a few hours, flames destroyed what took decades to build for one Southeast side mechanic. Last Thursday’s fire on the Southeast side off of E. Wyoming St. and S. Arcadia Ave. tore through Hector's Auto Body, leaving nothing but charred cars and heartbreak for the owner, Hector Lara, and his family. It was a family-run shop that had been in business for more than 20 years.

This was their final capstone project for students in the College of Architecture, Planning, and Landscape Architecture (CAPLA).
