    BENSONHURST – Another Bensonhurst fixture is saying goodbye. After decades in the neighborhood, Bari Pork Store, 6319 18th Ave., will be closing for good June 30. They are known as “King of the Sausage” and “The last real Salumeria on 18th Avenue,” with its meats and cookies, heroes and other Italian delicacies. Some of the sandwiches made at the store.

    BAY RIDGE – Following news that some parents had concerns about an EV charging station potentially opening across the street from P.S. 104, 9115 5th Ave., the company is trying to ease their minds. EVgo is in the very early stages of bringing the station to the former site of a former Kentucky Fried Chicken at 9201 Fifth Ave. The company is listed on its site as one of the nation’s largest providers of public fast charging infrastructure for electric vehicles.

    SUNSET PARK — ¡Viva Puerto Rico!Sunset Park’s ninth annual Puerto Rican Parade and Festival will be held on June 8. The march will begin on Fifth Avenue and 59th Street and will include floats, vintage cars and motorcycles.
