    MERRILL, Wis. (WJFW) – The Lincoln County Board voted 14-8 on Tuesday night to sell Pine Crest Nursing Home to Ensign Group Incorporated for $9.5 million. The future of the nursing has been a controversial topic for several years now – as many residents in the county are very opposed to the sale. The Ensign Group is a publicly traded firm on the NASDAQ Stock Index that owns more than 340 nursing and rehab centers throughout the country.

    HARSHAW, Wis. (WJFW) – Pinewood Country Club in Harshaw was the sight of the annual Camp Ryan Adams Golf Outing on Saturday. Camp Ryan Adams is an organization founded in memory of Rhinelander native Ryan Adams, who was killed in the line of duty in Afghanistan in October 2009. “You know, you just want to do him proud by being here, remembering him and raising money for his brothers who are still here,” said Kevin Johnson, a longtime friend of Adams and the organizer of the golf outing.

    TOWN OF LITTLE BACK (Wis.) - One man is dead from a single-vehicle accident in Taylor County early Sunday morning. The call came into the Taylor County Sheriff's Office Dispatch Center at approximately 6:15 a.m. The caller reported a severely injured man who appeared to have been ejected from the vehicle. Upon arrival, first responders found a black Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck flipped on its roof with significant damage in the East ditch of Gibson Drive.
