ANTIGO -- The Antigo Red Robins baseball team was eager to get back on the field Friday, as it welcomed Northland Pines to town for a doubleheader of Great Northern Conference baseball at Kretz Brothers Park. Rain wiped out the two previous Antigo games in the week, including a trip to Eagle River to face Northland Pines Thursday, leaving the squads with a twin bill in Antigo to wrap up the week.

MEDFORD -- Things were looking good in Medford Tuesday for the Antigo Red Robins baseball team, leading a Medford squad they had not beaten since the State championship season of 2019 by a 9-5 score in the bottom of the seventh inning. Medford would have no part of it however, as the Raiders scored five times in their last at-bat, walking off the Robins in a 10-9 final, pushing their winning streak over Antigo to 10 games in the process. kAm“%@F89 =@DD E@?:89E[” 9625 4@249 s2?

ANTIGO -- The Antigo Red Robins baseball team flipped the script on its 2025 season Thursday, at least for one game. After suffering four consecutive mercy rule defeats to start the season, the Robins did the same to Lakeland Thursday in the team’s Kretz Park home opener, by a 15-5 final score. Perhaps a little home cooking is all the team needed. kAm“xE H2D 2? :?4C65:3=6 @776?D:G6 82>6[” 9625 4@249 s2? q2DE=6 D2:5] “p 82>6 E92E H2D G6CJ :>A@CE2?E 7@C FD E@ <66A A246 H:E9:?
