ANTIGO -- The Antigo and Rhinelander American Legion baseball teams found themselves in a pitcher’s duel Wednesday evening at Kretz Brothers Park. APPLETON — The Antigo American Legion Post 3 baseball team came tantalizingly close to a win on Friday, but in the end more defensive miscues did the Typhoon in, falling 4-3 at Appleton. “This one hurts,” head coach Alex Heiny said. “We had a chance to earn a win. We had some very untimely and costly errors in the seventh and eighth innings. With that said, I’m still proud of the effort the team showed.”kAmp?E:8@ E@@< 2 b\a =625 E@ E96 3@EE@> @7 E96 D6G6?E9 :??:?8[ 2?5 H2D EH@ @FED 2H2J 7C@> 2 H:?
