Northern Lancaster County Regional Police say 24-year-old Mikayla Mustard was heading to her home in Harrisburg on May 2, 2024. But, she didn't stop to check on 16-year-old Curtis Groff, who officers found lying dead near a cemetery on West Sunhill Road after getting hit by a car that night.

    Lancaster EMS will have the grand opening of its new headquarters on Wednesday.The facility on Fairview Avenue gives crews a bigger space to fix ambulances, which will improve the turnaround time for getting vehicles on the road for service. The building also has a new training ground for community paramedics, who will help expand services for nonemergency calls like blood draws and at-home electrocardiograms.
