After years of waiting around with half-built houses, a number of customers of troubled builder Inspired Homes have this week become victims of theft. Bathtubs, tiles and other supplies have gone missing, with police now investigating. Men were seen removing a tub from a Kensington site on Friday, despite being prohibited from stepping foot onsite. Former Inspired Homes customer Lauren Edmands said it was “just another stab in the gut” to have items stolen from her building site.

West Australians will soon be able to by a drink without a meal at a pub on Good Friday and Christmas Day under new liquor licensing reforms introduced by the State Government. From next year, pubs will also have expanded trading hours on the most restrictive public holidays, including Anzac Day, meaning venues can operate from 10am to midnight. Under current laws, alcohol can only be served with a meal from noon to 10pm unless a venue is granted an exemption.

A Perth woman says she “cries every single day” after she was slapped with a $5000 bill from a local tow truck company. Lisa, who did not want her surname to be used, told 7NEWS she “dinged” her car on her garage door before driving it to work where she waited for it to be picked up by a tow truck. King Tow arrived at Lisa’s workplace and towed her car back to it’s workshop — a journey of just 13km — despite Lisa believing the truck had been sent by the RAC.
