    Residents under threat from an emergency-level bushfire in Perth's south are being urged to leave now if it is safe to do so. The warning is in place for parts of Ferndale, in an area by bounded by Canning River, Ferndale Crescent, Wilcock Street, Latham Road, Metcalfe Road and Nicholson Road. The Department of Emergency Services (DFES) said people in these residential areas should act now, as there was a threat to lives and homes.
