    GREENWOOD — Two years after a gunman shot and killed three people inside Greenwood Park Mall, the shopping center has made some changes. Today, Simon, the mall's owner, announced the completion of renovations that include a transformed food court with more than 400 seats across nine restaurants. There is now LED lighting across the mall, many areas have been repainted, and the men's, women's, and family restrooms have been remodeled.

    INDIANAPOLIS — Two of the most iconic musicians of the last 50 years will join together for a concert at Lucas Oil Stadium in 2025. The duo announced their stop in the Circle City on Thursday. The pair will hit the stage on Satuday, February 8. Joel, a six-time Grammy Award winner, is best known for his hits “Just The Way You Are” and “Piano Man,” among others.

    INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis police are investigating a homicide after being called to a downtown apartment building for a welfare check. According to IMPD, officers were called to the John Barton Tower around 2 p.m. on Wednesday for a welfare check. Officers located a man who was dead from apparent trauma. Homicide detectives were then called to the scene and began their investigation. The Marion County Coroner's Office will release the name of the deceased after their next of kin is notified.

    INDIANAPOLIS — On Wednesday, Ed Carpenter Racing and former Indianapolis 500 champion Alexander Rossi announced an agreement for Rossi to pilot the No. 20 ECR Chevy during the 2025 season. Rossi, who won the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500, will join Christian Rasmussen as a full-time driver for the team. Team co-owner Ed Carpenter will round out ECR’s three-car lineup for the Indianapolis 500.

    INDIANAPOLIS — One of the busiest traveled areas in the city got a little easier to navigate this week. On Tuesday, the ramp from I-69 northbound to 82nd Street opened. INDOT Drivers can now access 82nd Street when traveling from I-465 north to I-69 north. As of now, there is no access from 82nd Street from Binford Boulevard or I-465 East. Clear Path 465 construction continues in the area so continue to monitor speed limits.
