The Michigan Wolverines (20-5, 12-2) traveled to Columbus on Sunday for their first rivalry game of the season under Dusty May. Heading into hostile territory was difficult, but the Wolverines continued their winning streak by beating the Ohio State Buckeyes by a score of 86-83. Former Ohio State Forward Roddy Gayle returned to Columbus after transferring to Michigan before the 2024-2025 season.

The Ohio State Buckeyes achieved the ultimate prize by winning the College Football Playoff National Championship this past season. It was not an easy task as the new 12-team playoff format took shape in 2024. Many college football fans around the country wanted Head Coach Ryan Day out at Ohio State. But, that is no longer the case for Day, as On3 reported that Day has received a new contract extension through the 2031 football season. How will this deal work out for both sides?

The Green Bay Packers are making roster moves as midseason play approaches. After the release of longtime veteran kicker Mason Crosby, the Packers have taken a different approach for the last several years. At the start of the 2024 season, Green Bay signed rookie kicker Brayden Narveson after a down year in 2023 with Anders Carlson. Unfortunately, the Green Bay Packers have moved on from their most recent placekicker on Tuesday. In place of Narveson comes veteran kicker Brandon McManus.

The Green Bay Packers (4-2) just finished playing their sixth game of the 2024 NFL season. Their last win came against the Arizona Cardinals by a score of 34-13 at Lambeau Field on Sunday. While there has been a list of injured wide receivers, one is expected to be considered “day to day” ahead of their next game. In Sunday’s win, wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks suffered a shoulder injury against the Cardinals. Fortunately for the Green Bay Packers, the injury does not appear too severe.
