Pat Moodie isn’t one to shy from a challenge. A meticulous person, she takes her time to share what goes into every sculpture she creates. She points to a red-tailed hawk sculpture sitting atop a log in her living room. With its wings spread wide and eyes bright, it’s as if the large bird were about to take flight. It’s only on second glance you realize the feathers aren’t real. They’re plastic.

HINSDALE — As the Winchester School District prepares to finalize a high school tuition agreement with the Hinsdale School District, several Hinsdale students say they’re eager to welcome Winchester to their community. The Winchester district is looking to send its students to Hinsdale High after its tuition agreement with the Keene district expires at the end of the 2026-27 school year. Last February, Keene announced it would not renew the agreement.

After two years in business, Muse Bistro in Keene is closing its doors. In a Facebook post Monday afternoon, the eatery announced a new restaurant will take its place at 44 Main St. in the early summer months. Adam Berube said via text Wednesday morning he received an offer to sell the business, although the sale wasn't final yet.
